The Township of Lyndon will hold the 2022 December Board of Review on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., to correct mutual mistake of fact, clerical errors, poverty exemptions, and Veteran Exemptions at the Lyndon Township Offices, 17751 N Territorial Rd; Chelsea MI 48118
Tuesday following the second Monday in December: Special meeting of the December Board of Review may be convened by the assessing officer to correct a mutual mistake of fact or clerical error. (211.536b)
PA 74 of 1995 authorizes December (and July) Board(s) of Review to hear appeals for poverty exemptions, but not for poverty exemptions denied by the March Board of Review. Applies to current year only (211.7u) (STC bulletin NO 15/1995.) Also, Veteran Exemptions.
