Election Inspectors Needed

Dedicated community members are needed to become Election Inspectors in Lyndon Township. Being an election inspector is a great way to meet neighbors, support democracy in your community, and get a behind-the-scenes look at how elections are carried out! Election inspectors are paid for working an election and for their online training.

To qualify in Michigan, you must:

  • Be registered to vote in Michigan (we can help you register!)
  • Be willing to declare a political party preference
  • Have no felony or election-related convictions

Election Inspectors can work from 6:00 am to approximately 10 pm to set up for the day, process voters, then pack up and close the polls. This is our greatest need! We also offer shifts, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, and 2:00 pm to approximately 10:00 pm.
