TIME IS SHORT – WE NEED TO ACT
Michigan Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission has proposed a Congressional District mapping that will split Lyndon township across two congressional districts.
There are three versions of the Congressional maps. One, the “Chestnut” version keeps the township whole and keeps us with the rest of Washtenaw County. This one makes sense. Another one, the Birch version, still has the Township split down M-52. The third one, Apple, has Lyndon whole but it is separated from the rest of Washtenaw.
Please go to the website and put comments on the three maps. Please consider adopting the Chestnut version and rejecting the other two.
