2022 March Board of Review
The Township of Lyndon will hold the 2022 March board of Review on the following dates for property valuation appeals, poverty appeals, classification appeals, and veteran’s exemptions at the Lyndon Township Offices: 17751 N Territorial Rd., Chelsea MI 48118
Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 10:00 am – Organizational Meeting- no appeals
The assessor/supervisor shall submit the 2022 certified assessment roll to the Board of Review Tuesday after the first Monday in March. MCL 211.29 Organizational meeting of Township Board of Review. MCL 211.29 Tuesday following the first Monday in March.
Wednesday, March 16th, 2022 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.- Appeals by appointment
Thursday, March 17th, 2022 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Appeals by appointment
The BOR must meet on the second Monday in March. This meeting must start not earlier than 9 a.m. and not later than 3 p.m. The BOR must meet one additional day during this week and shall hold at least three hours of its required sessions during the week of the second Monday in March after 6:00p.m. MCL 211.30 Note: The governing body of a city or township may authorize and alternative starting date for the second meeting of the March Board of Review, which can be either the Tuesday or the Wednesday following the second Monday in March. MCL 211.43 (3) (b)
